Hello,

I want to do Java certification, but i don't know which one is better for me. I don't know whether SCJP 1.4 or SCJP 1.5 certification is better.
Please refer me which one is better.
Will these certifications increase my status in job industry?
Also suggest me some study material and related information about the exam.
I am opting for such certifications first time, so please guide me with all related facts about certification exam.

SCJP 1.5 is newer so it will not be outdated as quickly as 1.4.

See the SCJP FAQ.
