Please anyone can provide link/s to download jdk1.5 software for free
for personal use, in PC.

On Sun's Java SE download page (which currently features 6.0), there's a link near the top for "Previous Releases." This is where you will find Sun JDK 5 downloads.

Be sure to carefully follow the installation instructions.

The link you have provided, is not working, there is no download button for this.
download option is availble in other location, there I am having a doubt like
I am using a laptop which bought in one country using in another country
can I download the jdk for free from the below location

Madhu, if you closely follow what Marc wrote: Follow Marc's link and look for the tab labelled Previous Releases. Click on it and you go to a page where you can download older versions of the JDK: 5.0, 1.4.2, 1.3.1.

The download page for JDK 5.0 is here:

Download "JDK 5.0 Update 12" from that page. Downloading the JDK is free for anybody.
