Hello All,

I took the master exam from k&b yesterday and a mock exam today.
For both exams time wasn't sufficient for me.i was not able to attempt almost 8 questions.and i noticed that i'm taking 35 questions for first two hours and next 37 questions for the last one hour.and that too,i did it in a hurry for the last 30 minutes.

Can you please give me suggestions ,so that i can manage my time efficiently and complete all of my 72 questions.

Thanks for your reply
Kalpana.

Hi,

How much questions are you getting right?

Now for time problem i'll suggest you take some simulator which well help you give exam in more really envioment and also you will feel more confident after giving. It also stores the history(topic wise) so you can know in which area you are good and where you need to improove.

Hi subodh,
I took mock exam from Whizlabs.i'm getting 40 questions out of 65 right. i did not attempt 7 questions. do you think looking objective wise helps?.I usually go from firt question to last. So when i'm down to 30,i just do the remaing in a hurry.

thanks.

Hi Kalpana,

Its helps to check your strength and weakness by looking through the topic wise question so that you can work on your weakness but problem with you is of time.

I think what you do is attempt practice test via following method this my personal exprience hope it'll help you out:

1) Read the question once or twice and in a flash take a decide will take time to answer it?

2)if yes than mark the question(as the option is avaliable in both whizlab and exam) and move to next question and once you reaches last you can come back to those questions knowing how much time you have to spend on them.

3)if not than read as many times as you want but answer that question before proceding

Please give a test in this pattern and let me know if it helped or not.

Hi subodh,

Thanks for your reply.I think i'm improved a little.I'm following the same pattern.if i'm unable to solve the questions or it's taking time,i'm moving on to next one.

I think i have to take lot more mock exams to improve and feel comfortable.

Madhu,

Hi kalpana,

Too comfort you, I have the same problem. I do understand everything but I am too slow and make too many stupid mistakes.

For me it's the sneakyness of the questions that is making me doubt my answers, and spending too much time before I answer them. You think you know the answer and then somewhere hidden there is a statement like 'int i=2.5;'.

May-be quickly looking at the answers first could help you save time. If there is no 'does not compile', and yes I am beginning to hate that option, you can save yourself wondering about some possible outcomes. For the rest just get a very good sleep the night before, and do a lot of practise.

Cheer up! You can make it.
