How long it needs to get certificate?

I passed scjp 5 on June 28,2007. But I still did not get my certificate yet.

Does anybody know how long it needs to get the certificate? I think sun should send me a paper-certificate.

Thanks in advance.

It depends, but 6-8 weeks is not unusual, so you're still in the range. Be patient.

Thank you so much. I just checked my email again. It needs up to 8 weeks.

I received mine in about 2 weeks.

But.. if you need prof that you passed the examine, sun has a certification server, which is a service you are eligible to service. It is almost updated the next day after you take your test through the Prometric Exam completion. The service allows for an E-mail from Sun to any source you choose (including yourself) stating the completion of the certification.

Most employers wish to have this opposed to your certificate which can be forged.

I am at work and do not have it with me, but write me if you need the information.
