Hi Milind,

This is an odd topic for the SCJP forum and is kind of vague.

There are several ways to create a logo. Doing it yourself you can use a graphics package such as Microsoft Photoeditor, Imaging or Paint. There's also Photoshop by Adobe and the GNU freeware package GIMP.

If you don't have graphic arts skills, find a buddy that does.

As far as someone illegally copying it, that's being a little too paranoid imho.

If your resume is printed, probably no one's going to try to copy it. If it's pdf, there's a bigger chance, but still minuscule. If it's html, then more than likely it's on a web server where your resume is.

Try google'ing resume samples for more information.

Aloha,
Doug

Hi Milind,

Dont follow anything said by Doug its against law, After clearing exam you have to register to use logo on your resume. Then they will send you logo with a agreement which you have to sign and courier back to sun. This is what people are expected to do. I am not sure about the exact procedure so that's the reason why i asked to use search. It has been discussed a lot of time and the above mentioned things i remember.

Hope i have helped you

Best of luck

Hi guys,

@Srinivas: Milind did not mention the logo he wanted to use was Sun's logo or from the man on the moon . In your reply, you also did not mention where to search for the logo and/or if it was Sun's logo. It was not my intent to encourage such unethical/illegal behavior, if that was how the post was to be interpreted.

@Milind: If you were referring to using Sun's logo, then follow Srinivas' advice.

I apologize if I caused any confusion or misdirection. Too much pure code and law on the brain .

Aloha,
Doug

*edit* I interpreted the post as a plain jane logo that Milind was trying to create from scratch...

Hi Srinivas,

No hard feelings here too. I was just spooked a little to think that I might be considered a pirate . Translations from your side of the planet are a little different than the Far East and European translations I'm used to...

Aloha,
Doug
