How much do I need to pay for SCJP?

Hi all

From my understanding, for registering SCJP, first we need purchase the exam voucher from the sun website which costs $200. Later, to schedule appointment with a Prometric test center it charges additional $300!!

Does it cost me a total for $500 for SCJP 5.0? or am I missing something here?

I am not sure where that $300 comes from. You should have gotten voucher number in your email after paid the $200. Just enter that number when you schedule at prometric website and schedule the date, that should be it.

Ignore the $300 figure on the Prometric web site. As Tony said, your Sun voucher purchase is the only fee you'll need to pay to take the exam.
