i am really confused with the fatc that----------"A THREAD CAN AQUIRE MORE THAN 1 LOCK".this point is given on page no.708 3rd point of K&B.
please help me wiht a code.

There's nothing special about acquiring more than one lock.

Object obj1 = new Object();
Object obj2 = new Object();
 
public void methodThatAcquiresTwoLocks() {
   synchronized (obj1) {
      synchronized (obj2) {
         ...
      }
   }
}
