KB Chapter 3

Hi,
I am new to this forum. I am preparing for SCJP 1.5 from past 15-20 days, and I have been studing KB book.
I could do well in self test for first two chapters (got 60-70%). But in the 3rd chapter I couldnt get even 1 answer correct(though the chapter is not very tough). That has reduced my confidance level a lot.
Is there any particular method to study the chapters? I work on codes too.
Some one please give me suggestions.. wat I should do..

Hi Maya

You can go trough each question you got wrong, ask to the compiler what thinks with each possible answer, try to figure out how is the compiler behavior, check each KB answer explanation, then, if you still have some doubt, you can play with such code. The compiler is a good teacher.

Be well prepared with chapter 5 then. I could score 3/16 less than 20% still i hope to score 100% in SCJP 5.0 .
The exercise in K&B chapters is like life , like waves of a mighty ocean ups and downs. If there are devils like "chapters 3 and 5" then ther are angels like chapter 4 that will make sure you score 100%.

Don;t think much just keep preparing and keep burning the midnight oil

Deepak, As you have told,chapter 4 is an angle,I could score 80%(though not 100%)
BTB which chapter do you find the most difficult in KB? Now I am in chap 6 and am finding it very hard and cripitc.. so many concepts to understand..

Hi Maya,
Sometimes i feel am suffering from memory issue. Even after reading all the chapters i never score above 60%. Infact am preparing for SCJP from Feb 2006. And finally my voucher date will expire this december so am reading a bit seriously. I feel Collections is toughest chapter.
