Hello Guys,
i'm a newbie in the java territory.i'm an Elect/Computer Engr student in my fourth year and i'm currently doing my 3 months IT in a company where there is a testing center. i really want to maximize this opportunity to write the scjp 1.5 which means i have just three months beginning from now to do that. i have an interactive cd on java 2 by keystone learning center.
HOW DO I GO ABOUT ACCOMPLISHING THIS GOAL?

Hi Ojima,

Refer to this site's SCJP FAQ for lots of tips for preparing for the exam. If you already have a fair bit of Java experience, three months should be sufficient (but don't forget to book your exam in advance, to avoid scheduling problems).

You'll probably also want to get your hands on a copy of "SCJP: Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide" by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates (a.k.a. "K&B"). That's the study guide most of us here use, and you'll see many references to it on this forum.
