Hello friends,

Can anybody tell me what resources are available to prepare for SCJP 1.5 exam? To score better can somebody tell me which books should I refer?

What are the various free online test series for it?

Does SCJP 1.5 exam not cover Garbage Collection?

Does this exam contain negative marking or subjective answers?

Please respond me as soon as possible I want to give this exam before Feb. 2008.

Regards,

Hi Vaibhav,

You'll find lots of information on how to get started preparing for the SCJP at the SCJP FAQ. The de facto standard text for the exam is SCJP: Sun Certified Programmer for Java 5 Study Guide by Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates (lovingly referred to as "K&B" around here).

Some responses to your more specific questions: Yes, the SCJP 1.5 does cover garbage collection. And no, the exam does not use negative marking, and all answers are graded immediately by the computer software, so it's all objective.

Good luck with your SCJP preparation!
