I've been studying java 1.5 on my own by reading and writting small codes. But,i'm not doing well on the mock exams. I heard about a training place in India called Koenig. Please, who knows much about it? Is it a good place to train and pass the exam?

Lao Kinsuyi,

what I think is better follow this
1. Read K&B book, for every chapter do following
1.1 Read chapter and do all sharpen you pencil excercises.
1.2 Write code to get enough practise.
1.3 Go for cahpter end exam, review your mistakes.
(This step will consume 80% of your preparation,
Here we have learn the concept not Q&A.
Don't rush in this step if you are not getting the concept,
If you are working finish it in atmost 3 months.)

2. Now, this is time to mocks, be careful while choosing the them.
Some of them are very tuff if you select mocks for a specific topic.

I suggest you to go for real exam simulators( like examulator, whizlabs)
though they are commertial are very much in par with the objectives.

This step might consume 15 days if you are working.
Before starting this step ensure you will be free for atleast 2 weeks
and register you exam at any date after this 15 days.
Though it consumes 20% of prepation time this has lot of importance if
you are targetting for > 90+%.

3. From step 2 you will have an idea of how much time you might need to spend to face all questions. So prepare well for the HOT shot.
3.1 Sleep well and if you have the exam on next morning.
3.2 Don't drink too much water before exam and arrive to exam center
a bit early and don't refer any thing but stay calm.
3.3 Shoot all targets in the exam with optimum accuracy.
3.4 You will here sweet news.

4. Share your experience here.

Thanks & Regards, T.Srinivasan

I agree with Srinivasan thoyyeti, you need not spend time on training institute. read the books and practice yourself.
