hi guys,

I'm worrying about the choices or possible answers I might see in SCJP examination. If I see choices like "compiler error will occur" and "runtime error will occur", how would I differentiate the two to choose the right answer?

thank you guys.

regards to all,

In simple terms anything that relates to your syntax errors is called Compiler error and the logical error is runtime error! [of course which the compiler is not responsible for doing it]

There is a website with errors here. But I think the document Pranav Bhatt quoted is a lot better.

oh i see. so, errors that occurs upon compilation is compiler error. If it compiles properly and an exception occured while running, that is a runtime error
