hi,
if i find the time, i will try to gain some knowledge on Naming and Directory services. is there a good (free, easy to setup, light, small, ...) server somebody can recomend (must not support 100% of the features i listed :-) ) ???

Hi there,
You can use Netscapes's iPlanet 4.2 directory server. And can use the wrox book "Proffesion Java Server Programming J2EE edition". You will get 21 days evaluation version from the net. http://www.iplanet.com
