Selecting an exam, selecting study material

I'll be preparing for the SCJP exam soon, and I'd like to take the most recent, 310-065, for standard edition 6. I wonder if some folks here (maybe even one of the moderators could direct me on whether the Sierra and Bates guide for 310-055 is adequate for the task.

Many sources indicate a lack of major changes in Java SE from 5 to 6. According to Amazon a practice exam book for the SE 5 test was published just a couple weeks ago. So maybe that material is a good fit? Or would I be setting myself up for major disappointment on exam day?

Is there a forthcoming study guide for the SE 6 exam, and an ETA on that?

There have been posts on this forum recently where people have used SCJP 5 material and sat the SCJP 6 exam.

If you take a look on Amazon you will find that there a study guide for SCJP 6 scheduled for release in the summer.

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
