I am in chapter 9 or 10 of K&B (The chapter about threads) and have a lot of areas that need work in the preceeding chapters. I have a bit of a time constraint for work purposes ie. I need to take and pass the certification ASAP.

Would you recommend the Wiz Labs? or should I stick to the book for my source?

Thanks.

I downloaded the trial version. The webpage promised a discount if I provided my email address. I didn't get an email regarding a discount, and when I asked about, the response was that they weren't giving discounts. Now I am being bombarded with spam from India.

I am not making this up. I would be cautious.

I purchased Whizlabs software about a year ago for my exam preparation and found it very useful. I can't remember receiving any spam however.

It is entirely up to you if you want to buy additional material or not. However if I would have been in your place I would have worked on K&B book again and again instead of getting new material.

What I found during my studies was that having exposure to different sets of questions helped in understanding concepts. The problem with going over the same set of questions all the time (as in the case of K&B) is that you just remember the answer you used last time you attempted that question rather than being taxed by the problem itself.

Anderson gave himself the promotion. So I gave myself this tiny ad:
