This week's book giveaway is in the OO, Patterns, UML and Refactoring forum. We're giving away four copies of Refactoring for Software Design Smells: Managing Technical Debt and have Girish Suryanarayana, Ganesh Samarthyam & Tushar Sharma on-line! See this thread for details.
Hey guys as I told you am going to take my test on 23 Apr. And i have been preparing with Phillip Heller and Simon Robert's book. I got K&B's book only today. Is it possible for me to read the book in a week. Maybe it looks funny but I am serious.
I haven't read the other book ... but the K&B book is 10 chapters and about 600 pages (not including review questions etc.). You're not gonna cover that thoroughly in a week. IMHO. Take some mock tests. See the areas where you need to brush up. Maybe generics or threads and read those chapters.
