Just curiosity...

For the same reason everyone else does. To learn and to help.

A better question might be "Why don't more brazilian users post in JavaRanch?"

I think its because of our study pattern that we follow. Right from the childhood, Asians have a tendency to manipulate in order to find the way out. That is the reason why we are so creative and at the top of the world when there is a problem that needs a solution, and Java is something that we love.

Kudos to all Indians and Pakistani programmers.

It's amazing how much I got to learn not only about Java on this forum, but also about some people's philosophy..

This thread has nothing to do with how we run JavaRanch, so I'm closing it. Another sheriff might trash it. I for don't find this particular question insensitive or hostile. I do however find it obnoxious to characterize our user base by race or nationality.

We're interested in providing and promoting a friendly place for Java greenhorns to meet. Let's focus on whether those efforts are working.
