Several years ago I did my SCJP 2 exam and passed, and over the next couple of months I would like to do my Web Component and Web Services certification. Is it worth while for me to do the SCJP 5 exam first or go straight to the other exams?

I agree. Here's the link: http://ej-technologies/jprofiler - if it wasn't for jprofiler, we would need to run our stuff on 16 servers instead of 3.
