Hello People,
I have just completed Diploma in Infomation system from victoria university NewZealand. I want to give SCJP exam i have no knowledge of it can anyone tell me which exam i should go for and also which textbooks should i refer an from where can i get it an all other important things. As i need to find job now SCJP is my 1st priority at the moment. I want to know all about it also i have seen sun website can't make up my mind about which exam to give SCJP 6.0 or 5.0 and which are the textbooks for both of them. Help Please for my future.

Hi Gunjesh,
Good that you have made your decision to be Java certified and grow your career in this field.
It is best to go for the latest certification SCJP 6.0 if you don't have anyother compelling reason like client requirement etc.
you may want to explore whizlabs kit to begin your preparation with. Also book by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates is a very good resource.

You can use the SCJP study guide by kathy sierra and bert bates. There are many other resource for preparation that you can find around the ranch.
