I've had a look at the FAQ and am trying some of the tests, but if anyone can recommend any I'd appreciate it.
Even commercial ones, thanks.

Which upgrade exam is this ? I think there are 2. 1.4 -> 1.5 and 1.5 -> 1.6

I am not aware of any upgrade specific exams. You can concentrate on specific topics and that should be good enough

Wasn't aware there were 2, just assumed 1.6.

I last did 1.2

Pity, would just be nice to get some confirmation that you're ready I guess.
Also, not studying all the stuff I've studied years back just in case would be a bonus.

Fewer questions, with a slightly narrower scope. It should make a difference.
Life's short enough as it is.

1.2-->1.6

Should be a long jump. Would you still call it upgrade? I understand to start afresh would be better than to sit and revise on the differences, OOPs with java should however remain same.

1.5 to 1.6 doesn't introduce any new questions, if you looked at a few classes who's names I don't recall now you should be good to go.
If there's an upgrade from 1.2 to 1.5 then why not? That's where the biggest changes were anyway.

I could be wrong of course, and I'm happy to hear you out.

I've just read all 800 pages of Kathy and Bert's book, as enjoyable as it was I don't care much to properly study all of it.
Apologies if this comes across as rude or lazy but as I said life's short enough, I've studied that stuff once before and if there's an upgrade exam I'll take it with both hands.
