Dear Ranchers,

I have a basic doubt.

Does the country for purchasing the SCJP exam voucher and the country for taking the exam need to be same.

Please clarify.

yeah its possible, you can buy your voucher from different country and travel to US, and use the same voucher number to schdule the exam. In fact, its printed on the back of the voucher that its valid world wide. Please check your voucher.

However, if you have any issues with the voucher, prometric guys in different country do not support and wants you to contact the place where you bought the voucher. so, there is a little risk.

Yeah, it is very much possible.
The voucher is valid world-wide in any of the Prometric centre.

But just be careful!!
Because I already had a bad experince.
I got a voucher from India (from NIIT) and wanted to give the exam in US.

But when I was scheduling the exam, I was told my voucher expired a month before the date mentioned in the voucher.

I just wanna share my experience.
I got a voucher from Taiwan twice and either of them works just fine.

Thanks all for your replies. My doubt is if I buy SCJP voucher with Priority Code WW48CX1 as per, ttp://www.sun.com/training/savings/retake.xml, before June 20, 2008 from UAE. Will I be able to take the SCJP exam in India, in July, or the retake exam, if I need it.
