analysing different certifications

recently i have decided to take a Sun Certification in JAVA

well i have just analysed between SCJP, SCJD and SCJA, SCWCD etc..

SCJD and SCWCD require that SCJP should be done beforehand

but i didnt understand the difference between SCJP and SCJA.... what are the prospects of taking these certifications.... etc.. kindly help me

Now, coming back to your question, if want to know about SCJA and SCJP, first visit the Sun site.
Then you can also take a look at SCJA and SCJP FAQ's on this site. SCJA is an entry level certification for student programmers or newbies and SCJP is tougher exam, which requires an in-depth knowledge of Java Syntax. The syllabus of the exam can be obtained at the Sun Microsystem's site, the same link I mentioned above.
