My name is Bharat I am writing SCJP exam in august 1st week and want to know the exam patter . Can you kindly suggest me some good core java books which can be helpful in geting a good score in SCJP exam. And the exam is for how many marks.
Try the following link: http://www.sun.com/training/certification/java/scjp.xml It will provide you all the details of the SCJP exam. And I think the best and only book you need to refer to is the one authored by Sierra & Bates. Its easily available online and in bookstores.
SCBCD5, SCWCD5, SCJP5

Bharat, I suppose you need follow to K&B book, and if possible go through official tutorials from Sun itself. They are more then enough to make you prepared for the exam. Remember, just don't skim through the theory, you need to implement any concept you come through. Practice lot of mock questions, implement a lot and it will lead you the way ahead.
Best Regards, Ben

I’ve looked at a lot of different solutions, and in my humble opinion Aspose is the way to go. Here’s the link: http://aspose.com
