Be sure which web site you are on! As I posted about a month ago, the Sun site shows that the voucher costs $200 US. But, if you follow the link off of the Sun site to find a testing location ... you get out to the Prometric site. One of the pages that you will see says that the test costs $300.

I guess you can buy it from Prometric for $300, OR buy it from Sun for $200 and schedule the test session through Prometric. I bought mine direct from the Sun site.

Last week, sun's website was showing $200 and prometric was showing #300. I did a mistake by not buying exam at that time because now it is showing me $300 at both the places.

Agree. Even today sun's site says $300 for SCJP - all versions. Not sure if they are fixing something or its permanent from now on.

My calculations are that in India the voucher is about 1/2 the price of the US one.

Yes in India the voucher costs INR 6000.

Even the K & B 1.5 book I bought for INR 400 which is less than USD10 (1USD=42INR)
