Hi all,
Hope I can definitely get a best suggestion for my post. I am planning to make my SUN certification for the first time. Please let me know what would be better to prepare for that right from the basics to face the SCJP1.6 exam successfully.

I would suggest you get the SCJP study guide written by kathy sierra and bert bates. It is a great book to learn and get your basics right.

You cannot download the book by Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates as an e-book for free legally on the web. If you do find a copy, then it's an illegal copy.

Don't be cheap and don't engage in illegal activities. Just buy the book.

We do not allow asking for or offering of illegally copied materials on JavaRanch. So, do not ask for those things here.

The SCJP FAQ contains useful information for preparing for SCJP, including a list of legitimate mock exams.
