I believe I am. The problem is that all companies want at 3-5 yrs of IT experience and I only have 1.5 years of professional experience

I just came out of this. Its too bad out there and it takes 2 to 4 months to get the job. And everything is very uncertain. Even after good interview you cannot guarantee if its gonna come thru.

If you need H-1 sponsorship and looking for entry-level job, you're out of luck at this time Not many companies are willing to sponsor entry-level programmer. Most companies will require MS in Comp. Sci + minimum 2-3 years of experience At this point of time, you need to be exceptional to get an entry-level job with H-1 sponsorship You can keep trying, but I suggest you go back to school and get Master's degree Good Luck
