This text is exactly right except for one thing : Java is in demand now. At least in Canada. Every new project that starts today has some Java code in it.
The market is hard for ppl with no experience. I feel bad for guys coming out of university and college. They will have a hard time finding a job. For those of us who have some solid experience it's an easy job search, not like 2 years ago but still easy.

If its not java then what is in demand ? , that made the author of this article feel that way.

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I said java is still in demand. Actually it is the most requested skill on the market today. Especially J2EE.

Beside, ppl that don't get jobs today have either no experience, no technical skills or no communication skills. if you have all 3 then you're never out of work. Also a few good certifications might help to prove your knowledge.
Now is a good time to do that master if you just came out of Bsc and are jobless. Also try to do somehting else than computer programming. Try to get some management or business skills.

for ur kind information this article is not written by me . I,am not in a habit of creating over pessimism on ranch like you. If can't speak in favour of something then why don't you leave IT . I,am not telling people false or fake statements . I came across something so wanted to share .
By the way congress ( indian) would be very glad to accept a pessimistic candidate( that is you) for there party .jokes apart !

Raghav, I think your only answer on this web is 'Shashank Bapat' once he shouted at 'Krishna Anand' since then he's stopped his useless counselling service on this forum, I thing he should concentrate on you now. Here people are dying for jobs and you are happily posting some stupids article and asking people to be happy, for your kind info this is not optimism, it is just fooling around

Montreal.
How is the job market in calgary? I wanted to move to Alberta someday because of the taxes (here in Quebec if you add all taxes you pay over 50% of taxes).
Just to let others know, I had an interview this week and got the job. The interview lasted 10 minutes and no technical questions were asked. Just to prove that if you have Experience, tech skills and comm skills you get the jobs.
Don't give up.
later.

I don't need any body's advice .... i do what i want and what i feel . I,am not fooling here as you think. Why should i stop writing on the ranch . We all have the freedom of speech . When you can throw comments on anybody then can't i . I,am not forcing anybody to belive what i say ....ok ..... Its upto you and the people to believe . If you are so unconfortable with a certain amount of oprimism then i really doubt that you even belong to IT .

The job market in calgary isnt so bad I dont think. I havent been looking around as I already have a job, but that might chnage soon. I a reconsidering. I wouldnt mind moving to Montreal. I went to Bishop's in the eastern townships and I love the area, especially Montreal.
See what happens. I am going to call some of my freinds in MTL and see what I can plan out.

I think the goal of these forums is to share knowledge and experience with others. Unless this is something you absolutely cannot discuss in the forum you should post your questions.
