Will Sun Solaris Certification Help me in my Job Search.

Hi Everone,
i need a bit of advice, I would like to know wether Cirtification in Sun Solaris is Important and would it help me in my Job Search, I am Sun Java Certified(80 %). I have two years of experience in Java technologies such as Jsp, servlets, Ejb, Weblogic, and XML(basics), currently unemployed.

I can speak for every job, of course, but I would say generally it won't help much. The only cases it may be seful is if:

1) Solaris is the development environment, and it's hard to find people used toworking in it. (Which is rare)
2) Solaris is a supported platform, and they need to do a lot of funky stuff when istalling and/or running on it. (The funkier the stuff, the rarier it is.)
3) It's a sys admin position.

Certainly list it on your resume but don't bother to play it up, thinking it'll give you an edge for a Java job.
