I purchased the above for my son but found the following error while trying to run the diagnostic test:

Run time error '75'
Path/File access error

I wrote to the Whizlabs but their response is inadequate and delayed.

I put this up here for anyone who can assist in resolving the problem since my son wants to take the SCJP 6 test shortly (he is <14 and aspires to be a young professional). Already a lot of time has passed such that he cannot take it before his 14th birthday, which he coveted.

Thanks,

Pranab

Please do not double post

As for the error, it appears that the program may have a problem accessing the a file (license ?). Perhaps the read access for this file is not available or this file does not exist in a place that the program expected it to be. I am not a support guy so this is just an extremely huge hunch. You should call or wait for real support. Did you try the online help ?

Good luck to your son.

Oh and you might want to try the free mock exams on the SCJP faq and my signature while you wait. That way you can kill some time before real support arrives.

Actually, there were some 'flood' problem with javaranch, which is why I posted again; however, I requested paul javaranch.com to remove the other post, since I cannot do it myself.

Regarding your 'wait', I am doing so for quite sometime. I don't know what does Whizlabs intend, since they sent a web based test url instead, which is difficult to access from normal modem connection and also costs.

Thanks for your nice other tip.
