Maybe some of us have been laid off, or are looking for jobs, or not in what we would consider the right jobs, but we're all here because we want something better. The fact that we're all lending assistance in a community atmosphere, albeit a virtual one, is a collectively noble endeavor. The economy will come back as long as we all believe it will. I'm not saying go back to consuming mindlessly and forgot what's happened, but have faith in the market, that if we can all take a chance and jump back in, it won't be long until the employers are searching the Web for our resumes. Peace.

Dear Neha I very much understand the frustration that you and other people who have lost their jobs are undergoing right now and if you feel that by shouting /throwing your anger at me or others in this forum can very much help you in getting a job then please do so .But please remember that you are making yourself only more miserable in this process .I will continue to be your wellwisher and do offer my advice as and when I feel appropriate . May Peace be to you & God bless you and guide you . ------------------ Krishna

neha, i was addressing everyone as people who are struggling, and not so much as java programmers. i never claimed to be a counselor. how can you turn a benign, well-intentioned thought into something's that's offensive to you? what's made you such a cynical pain in the ass? you're an annoying, undesirable sort on a message board, so i can only imagine what a pleasure you are in the flesh. i'm probably not the first person to say this to you, but, my friend, you need an attitude adjustment. if that comes to you someday in the form of an ass whipping, well, so much the better.

Neha Sharma: I thought the purpose of this forum was to share ideas, thoughts, and succes stories related to a job search in the Java IT industry. One of the great things about this board until a month ago, was that the griping and complaining was held to a minimum. I've been in your shoes (unemployed) twice in the past year - and have shared my success stories with everyone on this board. Again, that's what I thought this board was for. You need to remember - the number one rule of a job search is not to get depressed, desponent, and resentful of others. Most of us here have been through the emotional rollercoaster of a job loss. This is why it is so important to turn a job search into a full-time 40 hour a week job unto itselt. Meaning, you are too busy to feel sorry for yourself. If you haven't been to college (ie, "paid the price") and done an internship or junior level project or two as part of your studies - then you have no one to blame but yourself. So quit griping, get back to either studying or looking for a job. Good luck, John Coxey (jpcoxey@aol.com) [This message has been edited by John Coxey (edited September 27, 2001).]
