Hi ranchers, The current and short-future scenario of IT is bad after terrorist attack as far as i can guess . I have some friends and relatives abroad and informed that in USA foreigners and various economic sectors including IT is under immediate problem due to laying off staffs. In Canada the lay-off is going high now. It was already suffering and slightly recovering just b4 the WTC attack.... I heard networking professionals may gain some advantages from now on. Anyway, Plz give some stats and ur opines on the worldwide job opprtunity in IT sector....

Sure there are advantages. Join the Army. Fight the Bugs (i.e. the islamic terrorists). It's that simple.
