I would suggest you prepare for the higher versions instead. The SCJP 1.4 will be retired soon. Quote from the Sun website

Effective October 31, 2008, if you hold an exam voucher for this certification exam, you have through November 28th, 2008 to take the exam at an authorized Prometric worldwide testing center.

Concentrate on your weak areas and keep practicing. Good luck

Is it possible to pass SCWCD5 (CX-310-083) after Upgrade Exam: SCJP6 (CX-310-066), without getting the Upgrade Exam: SCJP5 (CX-310-056)?

You can do the SCWCD exam if you're SCJP certified, it doesn't matter what version of SCJP you're certified for. If you are already SCJP certified (for an older version), then you don't need to do an SCJP upgrade exam at all before you do SCWCD.
