Hi all,

I have the K&B book for SCJP5.0, however I would like to take exam for SCJP6.0. Would it be adequate to use K&B 5.0 book for preparation of SCJP6.0.

What are the extra topics that I would need to look at for SCJP6.0?

How different is SCJP6.0 from SCJP5.0?

Can someone post the links for extra topics or do I have to purchase the new book for 6.0 exam?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Tom

The difference between the SCJP 5 and 6 exams is not very big, and if you already have the book for SCJP 5 then you don't really need to get the book for SCJP 6. If you study from the SCJP 5 book, you've already covered 95% of what you need to know for SCJP 6.

Have a look at How is the SCJP 1.6 exam different from the SCJP 1.5? in the SCJP FAQ.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
