hi,

does any one know an easy way of memorizing various Exceptions and its subclasses. Please

You don't need to memorize them. There are a few unchecked exceptions like ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException, ArithmeticException which are sub-classes of RuntimeException class,

then there are checked exceptions which are related to the type of the working that you are doing, i.e. for file input output, you will need to know IOExceptions like EOFException or FileNotFoundException...

I don't think you need to memorize any exception classes. It would be more clear if you would tell what is the problem that you are facing....
