Dear friends,
I have just joined this forum and this is my first question. Please parden me if it sounds too trivial. I am a engineering fresher (will be passing out in may 2009).I already started preparing for SCJP and will be taking my first attempt in next couple of months. My question is regarding jobs. I would like to know if my chances of getting a good IT job would improve after getting the SCJP certification.
Could any of you please throw some light on this front and guide me?

It depends on the employer really. As long as you earn the certificate yourself, the SCJP can only do you good. Good luck
