hi everybody,

i am very much confused about to that with which book should i start study of java,i have these options
1.how to program...By-deitel & deitel
2.head first java
3.core java 2 -advance features 8 ed....by- Cay S. Horstmann and Gary Cornell


please help.


and please suggest me that can i prepare for scjp1.5 with the study of core java, i have some knowledge about java,i have introduced with each topic of java but i don't have deep and wide knowledge of them.

please suggest me the correct way to prepare for scjp1.5

and tell me that in which time i can prepare for scjp1.5,(i am pursuing graduation in engineering) and how much time should i give to java on daily basis and what should be the correct way to prepare for that exam.

questions are much but i really need help,

You can try the SCJP 5 study guide by kathy sierra and bert bates.

If you are a beginner, then i would suggest Head First Java.

SCJP Book of Kathy Sierra is good, if you have some basic knowledge of java.

And for the concepts you are not able to understand, you can always post them on Javaranch.
