I am trying to configure JavaMail in Jakarta Tomcat 4.0 i am getting error as follows :
Apache Tomcat/4.0.2 - HTTP Status 503 - Servlet SendMailServlet is currently unavailable type Status report message Servlet SendMailServlet is currently unavailable description The requested service (Servlet SendMailServlet is currently unavailable) is not currently available.

I can think of several reasons the servlet is unavailable: 1. The configuration data was bad 2. The mail server it has to talk to is down 3. The system administrator turned it off Have you examined the logs for more detailed messages? Bill
