I am having a problem with JavaHelp. I copied the holiday example and modified the files approporiately (including removing the second TOC, changing the map, index, and TOC files). However, as I try to run the hsviewer, which works on the included demos, I get the following exception on my jar file.

Looking at the source code for the JHLauncher class I see

(complete code listing can be found here)

I was able to get past the exception casuing the JPiontPnae, but clearly I am hitting the HelpSetException. Since the url isn't null, the cl must be. It's state depends on the on12 variable which has to do with

But since Java is the same whether I'm running their demo or my own, I'm unclear why this is an issue.

We gave up on JavaHelp a while back, and use Oracle's Java Help thingy; it rocks, and transitioning from one to the other took only an hour or two.
