I need an open source Java OCR in my university project. So can i use this Aprise OCR library to help me doing it?
Need money or not?

Hmmm.... Not sure what to do with this topic...

I purposely left the link in the original post because it looks like it contain some useful information.

The API document seems to be available online. There seems to be a "trial" version, which is not for distribution. And it looks like a *single* license will run about $1000.

In any case, I too, would like opinions from anyone who use this product. I haven't worked on a project that needed OCR in about 5 years, but I guess you never know.
