JCA API Documentation

Going through the JCA1.5 API documentation :
In javax.resource package,

javax.naming.Referenceable interface documentation reads like :

public interface Referenceable
extends javax.naming.Referenceable
The Referenceable interface extends the javax.naming.Referenceable interface.

Can interface and class have same name ? If yes can interface extend a class with same name as interface?

Kindly reply,

javax.resource.Referenceable doesn't have the same name as javax.naming.Referenceable. They belong to different packages.
