if someone has a Bachelors as well as SCEA, but only a couple of months worth of experience being a junior developer what kind of position should they apply for/be expecting to get?

A junior developer position. No one will hire you to be an architect with a couple years of experience minimum, realistically it should be around 7-10 years experience minimum for an architect. --Mark

did i say it was me? :roll: i fully expected an architect position to be WAY out of reach, but my question is what is within reach? only entry level? nothing above?

To me a couple months experience is clearly junior level. How many projects could that person have been involved in? How much of a project's lifecycle would that person have worked on? How much of that person's work was self-directed? How much real-world experience with a variety of problems and solutions can you possibly obtain in a couple months? A couple months time is not much at all. It sounds like an internship to me. It should be enough to get that person in the door as a junior developer somewhere though.
I agree. A couple of months experience means that somebody should be cutting their teeth on bug fixes, code reviews, testing, and doing small internal-to-the-department low-risk projects. You probably wouldn't stay in that mode long; just enough so the team had a chance to get you up to speed on how they work, and to see if you deal with the low-risk tasks in a way that won't make them worry about assigning you higher-risk ones.
