Java Developer Interview

Hi,
I am going for a Java Web Developer interview this Wednesday, the job requires to know JAVA, HTML, XML, JSP, J2ee API's as well as traditional client server development (SQL using Microsoft SQL server, Powerbuilder).
Could you please give me some ideas what kind of technical questions I would expect?

Hi Sandra,
The typical question for JSP's in an interview would include What is isTreadSafe, in terms of JSP? How do you use it? Why do use it? Then give an example. This is especially important when many users are hitting the site. Most employers will ask about the new things such custom tag libraries. As far as Java, the basic questions such as instantiation, objects (such as Discuss the important methods in the Java Object class), classes. I wouldn't be surprise if they asked you to solve a problem.

Hi, I've got call from recruiter yesterday. Somebody gave him list of questions, because probably they wanted to filter people out first. Position was for JSP/XML, but he asked me about creating and problems with Threads in Java, then about Collections - Hashmap and Vector, and should I try to put array into vector... That was confusing one

For XML, it was DOM and SAX, and which parser I used. And also how do I validate XML document.
For JSP - nothing, just what level I think I am. Lot of UML question.
I hope that will help somebody. It's my first call in a month since I'm looking for the job...
