Can anybody recommend any good, honest headhunters either in NJ, PA or FL?
Just in case, my resume is here.
Thanks in advance.

Dalia, in a bad market there are no good headhunters, I guess. All mine failed so far, the offer I've got and have accepted came from me finding company's ad on jobcircle.com

Any posted remarks that may or may not seem offensive, intrusive or politically incorrect are not truly so.

Funny, I would say the exact opposite. In a bad market, only good head hunters can survive. In the booming market of the 90's these fly-by-night "boiler rooms" would open up an back room, shotgun bodies at companies for a few years, succedding off the fact that there was a high turnover rate, and that demand for exceeded supply (oh, and the companies blew billions on plenty of stupid ideas). Now people know it's an employeers market. They won't waste the time with some warm body who calls himself a headhunter. However, those headhunters who add real value, but putting together good matches are still around and doing good business.
I some good one swho are doing fine. And the one's I've met recently seem to be of high caliber then the sleazeballs I've dealt with the last few years.

Hmmm ... It's always funny Shura how you and Mark always seem to have such differing opinions. In regards to looking for a headhunter, I'll keep looking for somebody as well as looking for a job on my own.
Shura, congratulations on the new job. I'm amazed that you found something through Jobcircle.com. I became disillusioned with the job boards and subsequently gave them up a couple of months ago. I've attended several job interviews, but none as a result of the job boards.

As far as my experience with job boards, www.hotjobs.com and www.jobcircle.com seem to have real job postings. I got some interviews by applying through them. Usually if the posting comes directly from the employer (not recruiter) and you meet the job requirements, they will get back to you. So keep your eyes open and good luck !

Oh it's not just Shura, I seem to have different opinions from most everyone. Shura just speaks up a lot ;-)

Mark, you seem to have a lot of valid opinions. And yes, I do speak up a lot
As far as headhunters, I am not completely disappointed, I still keep a few contacts. These are what you call nice people. They don't lie, don't try to trick you into job, and have connections. But doesn't mean they can find a job that is a match in bad market. As opposed to good headhunters, who are good because they can find jobs no matter what.
I even worked for consulting firm that joined with headhunting company to become "human capital provider" for Eastern Technology Council, i.e. de facto headhunter for local technology leaders. Obviously, I had good connections there, but no job came out of them.
My top resources of interviews:
1. Personal contacts
2. Headhunters
3. (surprisingly) JobCircle.com
4. (very distant 4th) monster.com and hotjobs.com
5. nothing else
