Be advised that CLB Global Sourcing has failed to pay consultants for an entire month, and are likely to go out of business. I am owed more than $3000, and will be forced to move because of this. Any legal advice? It's too much to take to small claims.

I suspect the cost is too small for most lawyers--unless you file a class action suit. Can you talk to some other consultants and get a sense of who much is owed to how many people? I'd also recommend filing sooner, rather then later, in case they do go chapter 11. --Mark

It happened to me over one year ago. The CTO of the .com agreed to pay me, but then the company was sold by the owner and they did not talk to me any more. They were at WA while I was in TX. It was $400, so I gave up. This is the risk we have to take as consultants.
