Creating File in Remote machine

I wanted to create a file on remote machine which acts as a centralize log file where all subsystem logs data.
any clue how can we achive this...?

RMI, EJB, JMS, there are several ways to implement it, depends on what you are wanting to do.
Are you asking specifically how you write to the log file?
