Could we please have a little more moderation in this topic.

Because over the last few months i saw so much of this:

"I failed to understand Java, so i started with Servlets and
now this HTML stuff gets into my way all of the time.

And reading a book or doing some Google research is sooooo hard."

Please get me right, i really like to help and i found great help here.

But i think the time of most of us is very limited, so we usually browse
the first 10 - 20 items and drop an answer.

I'm just fed up with:

OK, this writing thing usually involves the knowledge of 26
characters, we sometimes call them letters that's
"L-E-T-T-E-R-S .

OK now gentlemen, as i said flame me

I'm not sure I understand your point. Do you mean you don't like flippant answers to some of the questions posed, particularly the easy ones?

Do you have some examples so we can see what you're referring to?

While I'm inclined to agree, we're all human and tend to slide occasionally. There are some moderators and other members who are almost immune to this and I hold them in the highest regard. We can only aspire

Please change your signature to remove the profanity. If you're concerned about the atmosphere at the Ranch, that'll certainly help.

I got a completely different read than David. What I "heard":

1) I'm really tired of posts asking simple questions that could have been answered with a little effort on the poster's part

2) I'm really tired of "u" and "ur"

And yes, the OP would be taken a lot more seriously without the offensive sig.
