zipping files: problems with german umlauts in filename

hello all,
i have a problem with zipping files:
i use the class JarOutputStream, JarEntry (java.util.jar.*) to zip few files together to a archive. That works fine for normal filenames but when the filename have a german umlaut like "Pr´┐Żfdokument.txt" in it, in the zip archive the filename is called "Pr++fdokument.txt". When i look at the name of the jarEntry Object with the method getName() i get the correct name.
nowhere In my whole application i have a problem with the german umlaut so: what do i have to change?? wheres the problem??
by the way: when the file-data includes a umlaut it works fine... only the names are incorrect!
