Has anyone have an example of how to open a file on a secure server?
I have read the URL objects don't work.

This belongs in another forum. Sockets and Internet Protocols

My code runs with local files (C:my_file.txt) . I have moved them to a secure server( https://my_secure_server/) . Now I need to find out how to change the code to open files on the
server. I think that SDK 1.4 and later uses JSSE to handle https protocol now.

I don't want the user to be prompted for a passphrase, so I would like to use a running Pageant session for authorization. I also can start a PuTTY session if that would help. Can anyone show me an example of what to do next?

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
