Friends, I have a servlet that pushes excel file to client. In Firefox/Netscape I am prompted with "Save As" option but in Internet Explorer I am prompted with the dialog box where I have to open/save/cancel.
I want the Internet Exlporer also to prompt me with "Save As" option for Excel. Can I do this with any of the IE (version 6.0, sp2) settings? Or please advise..

I have a bigger issue with this IE/Excel thing. (Windows XP, IE6.0 SP2, MS Office Excel 2003 SP2)
I log in to my web app using LDAP credentials, "click on the export to excel url" IE prompts for Open/Save/Cancel dialog, I can Save/Cancel but when I try to open the file IE or Excel (my observation is Excel) prompts me for LDAP credentials again. Friends do you know why does IE/Excel is asking me for my LDAP credentials again? (in netscape and firefox I am prompted with "save as" option and I can save to my desktop directly)
