This week's book giveaway is in the Mac OS forum. We're giving away four copies of a choice of "Take Control of Upgrading to Yosemite" or "Take Control of Automating Your Mac" and have Joe Kissell on-line! See this thread for details.
I have 4 years of experience in Java, Servlets, JSP and EJB. N right now I want to change my job coz there is only limited development in the present job. But after facing 3 interviews I am frightened by the way the People r looking at me. They think that I should have knowledge on Design Patterns, XML, UML, OOAD. But coz of the size of my present company I am not experienced in all those things. My doubt right now is do I have to a master of all the stuff then only apply for jobs (But it may take atleast a month more, till then a new thing may come into the market). So please guide me regarding this confusion I am having. Mostly I am feeling stressed, I can say I am in a dilemma.
Purchase some books like 'Design patterns',paterns in Java ,XML and Java by OReilly and slowly go through day by day.In the interview you can say you can work on these methodologies. Here in India, interviewers have a bad habit of asking what is not there in your resume.
